Critical Injury Accident

Victim: Critical Condition
Details:
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the report of a motorcycle versus passenger car crash in the intersection of Bluffton Road and Winchester Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. this afternoon.
Once on scene officers observed fire and medic personnel providing aid to an unresponsive male that was the operator of the motorcycle. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.
Investigators have learned through eye witness accounts that the motorcycle was northbound on Bluffton Road when a passenger car that was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Winchester Road from southbound Bluffton Road turned into his path where the motorcycle broadsided the passenger vehicle. The female driver of the passenger car was not injured.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.
