(July 11, 2018) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department was alerted to a fire at 9439 Lima Rd (Club Royal) by a passing motorist.
When the first unit arrived they found heavy fire, high heat, and smoke that prevented them from making entry to the structure. The fire was fought entirely from the exterior of the structure due to the conditions. It took crews 50 minutes to bring it under control.

No one was inside the building when the fire started. No Firefighters were injured while battling the blaze.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Fort Wayne Water Department, TRAA and Neighborhood Code.
