Incident Report:

Narrative: Officer Rivera and I were dispatched to 4935 Bluffton Rd (Get2Go) in reference to an armed robbery. Male black wearing blue hoodie and black pants armed with a gun took coin register machine. Suspect left in a silver Dodge van missing a front hub cap south bound on Bluffton Rd.
Upon arrival we made contact with the complainant, *********** who works for Subway. *********** stated there was two male blacks hanging out at the gas pumps begging for money for awhile. *********** said they arrived in a silver or gray Dodge van with a missing front hub cap. *********** said the driver of the vehicle came into Subway first and begged some customers for some money then exited the store. *********** said the driver got into the van and moved it to the other side (east) of the parking lot. Then the male black passenger in his 40’s to 50’s wearing a blue hoodie, skinny, and tall came into the store and sat down at a table. *********** said he was coming out of the employee’s only door to clean tables when the suspect stood up and pointed a small black semi-auto pistol at him. *********** said the suspect said “this is a hold up, give me all the money”. *********** said he ducked down and went back through the door. *********** said he saw the suspect trying to take the money out of the register but was unsuccessful. *********** said he ran towards the Get2Go to get away from the suspect. *********** said the suspect left in the van north bound on Bluffton Rd.
*********** said he returned to Subway and found that the suspect had stolen the coin change out of the coin register totaling approximately $#. Officer Rivera spoke to the two witnesses, see his report for there statements. Both Subway and Get2Go have video of the incident although they were not able to provide us with copies of it tonight. I contacted DB base and advised them of the incident. They advised they would have a Detective make the scene. Later, Det. Strausborger made the scene and took over the investigation. We cleared.
