News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, Melan Cove
(February 8, 2018) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 6000 block of Melan Cove. Upon arrival a fully involved garage fire was found. An aggressive attack kept the fire from extending to the living quarters of the home. A car and all contents of the garage were destroyed with the rest of the house suffering smoke and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department and Three Rivers Ambulance Authority.
