News release from Science Central:

Extended Hours for Spring Break at Science Central

(March 28, 2017) – Science Central will extend hours during the week of April 3rd to accommodate area residents and visitors on vacation. Science Central will be open Monday, April 3 through Saturday, April 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 9 from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Visitors will be able to enjoy Science Central’s newest touring exhibition, “The Zula Patrol: Mission Weather.” Visitors experiment along with them and learn what weather is, how it works, what affects it, and how it affects us. This exhibition uses hands-on displays to create the colorful world of Zula. Learn about clouds, precipitation, wind, temperature, and other weather phenomenon, all while applying science processes. The Zula Patrol: Mission Weather exhibition addresses developmental needs of children by increasing scientific knowledge and reading literacy, and providing opportunities for children to play and exercise multiple forms of intelligence. The exhibition was developed by NRG! Exhibits.

Visitors are encouraged to check out Science Central’s various exhibits. From Science on a Sphere to our various public demonstrations in the Lincoln Financial Demonstration Theater, there is something for all visitors at Science Central.
