House Fire, Third Street
(December 31, 2016) – A home at 908 Third Street was heavily damaged by fire last night. The fire extended through the 1st and 2nd floors of the home and into the 3rd floor before being brought under control by the Fort Wayne Fire Department. A home beside the 1st home sustained moderate damage as well. The occupant escaped after attempting to put the fire out himself. He sustained minor smoke inhalation but refused treatment at the scene.
