USF Hosting Marching Pride Band Day

(September 15, 2016) — The University of Saint Francis is giving students a chance to learn more about the USF Marching Pride, the university’s new marching band program. USF Marching Pride Band Day is Saturday, October 1 starting at 8 a.m. on the USF main campus, 2701 Spring Street.

Students will begin the day viewing a brief rehearsal at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium followed by a meet-and-greet with current members of the USF Marching Pride. Visiting students and parents will have an opportunity to learn more about the university, the band and the Music Technology program. Later that day, student visitors will join members of the USF Marching Pride for the halftime show during the noon USF football game against rival Marian University. After the game, there will also be opportunities for students to audition for our marching band talent scholarships.
