World renowned comedian Jeff Dunham brings his Perfectly Unbalanced International Tour to Fort Wayne Aug. 17th
(June 6, 2016) – On Wednesday, Aug. 17, 7:30 p.m., the Embassy Theatre will welcome the comedic genius of Jeff Dunham. Tickets are $58 and go on sale Friday, June 10, at ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone 800.745.3000 and through the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy.
In December 2015 the wildly popular and internationally acclaimed comic/ventriloquist loaded up the bus along with his cast of characters and headed out on the 2016 Perfectly Unbalanced International Tour.
In November 2014 Dunham and his sidekicks began their six-month residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. By overwhelming popular demand, Not Playing with a Full Deck was held over through October 2015. Recently Dunham made the Guinness World Records for the “Most Tickets Sold for a Stand-Up Comedy Tour.”
Dunham shot his seventh comedy special, Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood, during a two-night stand at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with special guest Brad Paisley. The special premiered on NBC Sept. 17 to a staggering 7 million viewers. Comedy Central gave Unhinged in Hollywood its cable television premiere on Nov. 1. The original airing garnered 1.8 million total viewers, topping its lead-in by triple digit percentages across the board, and was ranked as the highest-rated comedy special of the year for the network. Unhinged in Hollywood is now available on DVD/Blu-ray nationwide.
Dunham hand-crafts each character personally from conception to the final coat of paint and then brings them to life on stage. His beloved troupe of sidekicks are: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Ached the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border Jose Jalapeno, and Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.
The famed comedian has literally been all over the map, visiting five continents and 12 countries including the U.K., South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.
