News release from IPFW:
IPFW Professors Take Translation Skills to the Community
(May 13, 2016) — Do you have documents or letters written in German from your grandparents or parents that you cannot read? Bring them to the German On-the-Spot Translation Booth. Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) German Professors Lee and Suin Roberts will do quick, oral translations of documents written in German Saturday, June 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Dupont Branch of the Allen County Public Library (536 E. Dupont Rd.).
“Our hope is that people will get a good idea of what their “mysterious” letter or document in German will be about,” said Suin Roberts.
Certified translations will not be available, due to the nature of the drop-in booth. Call 260-421-1315 starting May 21 to register.
For more information, contact Suin Roberts at 260-481-6860 or shins@ipfw.edu or Lee Roberts at 260-481-6641 or robertlm@ipfw.edu.
