Building Fire, Calhoun Street
(May 13, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 2006 South Calhoun Street at 9:40 p.m. on May 13, 2016. On the first unit’s arrival, fire and smoke were found coming from the second floor of a two story residential/commercial structure. Firefighters used an aggressive interior attack to bring the one room fire under control in 17 minutes. One occupant was assisted in evacuating by the Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
