News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:

Meth Arrests, Knights Inn

(March 7, 2016) – On the 7th of March The Fort Wayne Police Department Meth Suppression Team and the Indiana State Police followed up on a drug tip that led them to the Knights Inn at 2901 Goshen Road in Fort Wayne.

Upon speaking with the occupants of room 128 observed numerous articles of paraphernalia. Further investigation yielded 1.6 grams of crystal meth, 1.5 grams of marijuana and syringes.

Two adults were present in the room and arrested for the following charges:

Sandy Marie Smith, female, age 33

  • Possession of a Syringe – level 6
  • Possession of Methamphetamine – level 6
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance – level 6

Glenn Edward Becker Jr. of Kendallville, male, age 35

  • Possession of a Syringe – level 6
  • Possession of Methamphetamine – level 6

This is an ongoing investigation by the FWPD Meth Suppression Team as well as the Indiana State Police.
