IPFW Hosts College Goal Sunday to Help Students, Parents Complete the FAFSA

(February 19, 2016) — Filling out financial aid paperwork can feel complicated and time-consuming, but College Goal Sunday at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will make it easy.

On Sunday, February 21, financial aid experts will provide free assistance to help students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The event will be held in the lower level computer labs in Neff Hall at 2 p.m.

“This will be a great opportunity for many local families to get hands-on assistance in completing the FAFSA for 2016-2017,” said David Peterson, director of financial aid at IPFW.

College Goal Sunday helps college-bound Indiana students who qualify for undergraduate admission to a college or technical school in 2016 and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It provides on-site help from financial aid experts, primarily from Indiana colleges and universities.

More information about College Goal Sunday can be found at their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
