Fort Wayne Fire Department announces Lieutenant promotions
(February 8, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department is announcing the promotion of 7 privates to the rank of lieutenant:
- Brandon Bainter – 9 year veteran
- Jimmy Creech – 13 year veteran
- Steve MacDonald – 15 year veteran
- Robert Roy – 16 year veteran
- Benjamin Singleton – 13 year veteran
- Ryan Smith – 14 year veteran
- Bryan Steward – 14 year veteran
In their probationary year these new lieutenants will rotate through all three shifts and will have the opportunity to work at some of Fort Wayne’s busiest engine houses. After their first year in their new rank the lieutenants will be assigned to one of three shifts and will be responsible for supervising the fire fighters assigned to their engine company.
They will start their new assignments this week.
