USF Named Among Best Colleges in Indiana

(January 25, 2016) — The University of Saint Francis has been rated number 15 out of the 36 top colleges in the state on education website Niche.com’s 2016 Best Colleges in Indiana.

Niche.com explains the standings: “The 2016 Best Colleges ranking calculates millions of statistics and student reviews into one overall college ranking. The top-ranked colleges are elite academic institutions that provide a good value, attract a diverse student body, and offer an exceptional college experience.”

In addition to the overall ranking, USF was listed at 6th in the state for both campus safety and campus housing. In both categories, the university made the top 100 nationally as well.

“Our mission at the University of Saint Francis is more than just education,” said President Sister M. Elise Kriss, OSF. “We want to create an experience for our students that goes deeper and instills a true calling to learning, leadership and service as they find their future.”

Founded in 1890 as a comprehensive university in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, USF offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs through the School of Health Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership and School of Creative Arts.
