Tommy Schoegler named Parkview Sports Medicine Director
(January 19, 2016) – Today, Parkview leaders announced Tommy Schoegler as the new director of Parkview Sports Medicine. Schoegler will begin his new role within Parkview Health at the end of January.
As director of Parkview Sports Medicine, Schoegler will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with area club and school district sports programs and teams, as well as developing new services, partnerships and educational programming.
Parkview Sports Medicine brings together top experts in the sports medicine field to help improve the treatment and overall athletic performance of athletes. Parkview Sports Medicine works with professional, collegiate and high school athletes, as well as competitive and recreational adult athletes, to enhance athletic performance through innovative technology and advanced care.
Born in Dayton, OH, and raised in northern Virginia, Schoegler completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at West Virginia University. He returned to Ohio and served as the Sports Director of WHIZ in Zanesville. In July 2002, Schoegler moved to 21Alive as the weekend Sports reporter until 2012 when he was named the station’s Sports Director.

Tommy will begin serving as director of Parkview Sports Medicine on Jan. 25.
