News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
FWFD: Building Fire, 1336 Goshen Avenue
(November 25, 2015) – Fire crews arrived at Buy and Save Auto Sales, 1336 Goshen Avenue, to find fire coming through the roof and out of the roof vents. Fire crews made an interior attack with multiple hose lines and extinguished the fire on the second floor and in the attic area. Crews worked to open up the building to get the smoke out and help the extinguish the fire. Goshen Avenue was shut down for a water supply hose line to supply the fire crews with water.
No injuries were reported.
Fire crews were assisted by FWPD, TRAA, AEP, and NCE.
