2015 IPFW Fall Tour Continues with Industrial and Entertainment Tours, Purdue Campus Visit, and Dinner with Purdue President Daniels
(October 12, 2015) — The 2015 IPFW Fall Tour continues today, October 12, with tours through industry and entertainment venues in Indianapolis and Lafayette, followed by a campus visit at Purdue West Lafayette and dinner with Purdue President Mitch Daniels.
Tour participants will start the day at the Eli Lilly BioTechnology Discovery Research Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. The tour then moves to Lafayette to see the Subaru of Indiana automotive manufacturing plant.
A visit to the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering on the Purdue West Lafayette campus will fill out the afternoon. The day will wrap with a dinner hosted by Purdue President Mitch Daniels.
Almost 40 faculty and staff members are participating in this year’s three-day tour from October 11-13. The tour is designed to give faculty and staff members an engaging setting to develop new connections while also increasing IPFW’s visibility throughout the state. This is IPFW’s third Fall Tour.
This year’s tour will include stops in Indianapolis, West Lafayette, and South Whitley.
