USF announces contractors for downtown campus renovation project
(September 15, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis has selected the following contractors to complete the USF Downtown Campus renovation project:

- Masonry – Ziolkowski Construction
- Demolition/General Trades – Weigand Construction
- Doors/Frames/Hardware – Central Indiana Hardware
- Glass/Glazing – Lazzaro
- Framing/Drywall/Ceilings – Strahm Group
- Floorcoverings – Tile Interiors
- Painting – BZW Master Painters
- Fire Protection – VFP Fire Systems
- Plumbing/HVAC – Project Design & Piping
- Electrical – Henry Electric
- Steel – Almet, Inc.
- Terrazzo Flooring – F&M Tile & Terrazzo Company
The USF Downtown Campus project is a $12.3 million investment that will bring approximately 300 students, faculty and staff downtown beginning the fall of 2016. The former Chamber of Commerce building will become the new home of the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership and the Media Entrepreneurship Training in the Arts program. In 2012, the university purchased the former Scottish Rite Auditorium now known as the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center. The west tower of the center is under renovation to house USF’s Music Technology program. Amenities at the downtown campus are open to all USF students.
The USF Downtown Campus renovation project has been designated as a Bicentennial Legacy project as part of Indiana’s 200th anniversary celebration in 2016. The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2016 in time for students to begin classes in the fall.
