Local medical provider office recognized for outstanding quality and service
(July 22, 2015) – Family Medicine Center, located at 750 Broadway in Fort Wayne, Ind., was recently honored with a Star Performer Award from MDwise, a local Indiana-based, nonprofit health care company focused on serving uninsured and underserved Hoosiers. The office received this recognition for going above and beyond to provide high levels of quality and service to patients.
“Family Medicine Center is a wonderful representation of the quality service our provider offices give their communities and we are proud to have a partnership with them,” said Katherine Wentworth, president and interim CEO of MDwise. “The Star Performer Award allows us to recognize the providers in our network who go above and beyond to provide a high level of service to our members.”
The Family Medicine Center, in partnership with the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, has been providing Fort Wayne with quality care since 1967. During this time, they have developed a proven Patient Centered Medical Home atmosphere. Family Medicine Center was built on the foundation of patient centered and passionate care, and is committed to providing patients with the high-quality care they deserve.
MDwise sought out specific criteria when selecting the Star Performer honorees, including achieving measures of clinical performance, best practice implementation, patient outreach and compassion. Also important was having a shared passion for quality throughout the office.
