47th Annual Three Rivers Festival Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
(July 9, 2015) – The Three Rivers Festival will celebrate its official ribbon-cutting on Friday, July 10th, in Junk Food Alley. Fort Wayne Mayor Henry will be present at the ceremony, which will mark the official open of the 47th Annual Three Rivers Festival at 11 a.m.
“We are very excited for this year’s festival,” exclaims Jack Hammer, Executive Director of the Three Rivers Festival. “This year’s festival will be bigger and better than ever. We have several great music acts and new activities we are thrilled about this year.”
The 9-day festival is the second largest in Indiana and highlights a variety of music, arts, games and activities for attendees of all ages. As part of the opening day activities, Junk Food Alley will open at 11 a.m. serving up tasty treats. Later in the day, adjacent to Junk Food Alley, Monster Energy’s Creative Sports BMX team will display their talents and tricks, while Loverboy will be the headlining act in the Festival Plaza.
