  • Little River above Huntington affecting Allen…Huntington and Wabash Counties
  • Salamonie River below Warren affecting Blackford…Huntington…Jay…Wabash and Wells Counties
  • Tippecanoe River near Ora affecting Fulton…Kosciusko…Marshall…Pulaski and Starke Counties
  • Tippecanoe River above Winamac affecting Carroll…Pulaski and White Counties
  • Wabash River near Linn Grove affecting Adams and Wells Counties
  • Wabash River near Bluffton affecting Huntington and Wells Counties
  • Wabash River at Wabash affecting Cass…Miami and Wabash Counties
  • Auglaize River near Ft. Jennings affecting Allen…Paulding and Putnam Counties
  • Blanchard River at Ottawa affecting Putnam County
  • Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne affecting Allen and Paulding Counties
  • Maumee River near Defiance affecting Defiance and Henry Counties

  • Tippecanoe River at Norway Dam affecting Carroll and White Counties

Runoff from recent heavy rainfall has caused many rivers to rise to flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Safety message…Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

The Flood Warning has been extended for The Saint Marys River at Muldoon Bridge

* until Tuesday afternoon.
* At 10 PM Friday the stage was 19.7 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast…The river will fall below the 14.0 foot flood stage around 4 PM Monday June 22.
* At 20.0 feet…A major flood is in progress and water is nearing the top of many levees. When the Muldoon Bridge gage reads 20.3 feet, the flood becomes a 100 year event.

The Flood Warning has been extended for The Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne

* until late Monday night.
* At 11 PM Friday the stage was 20.1 feet and steady.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast…The river will rise to a crest near 20.2 feet around 8 AM Saturday June 20 and fall below flood stage around 3 AM Monday June 22.
* At 20.0 feet…Some evacuations may be necessary in low, unprotected areas of River Haven.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.6 feet which occurred on Apr 19 2013.

The Flood Warning has been extended for The Little River above Huntington

* until Sunday morning.
* At 11 PM Friday the stage was 15.4 feet and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast…The river will fall below the 15.0 foot flood stage around 11 AM Saturday June 20.
* At 15.0 feet…The river is at bankfull conditions.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.2 feet which occurred on Apr 6 2009.
