Bike ride across the country for Parkinson’s

(June 17, 2015) – Henry Prescott has embarked on a 3,500 mile journey across the country to raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease. He is a certified personal trainer that has set up Parkinson’s exercise programs for some of his clients and decided to take this journey for all of those that do have or will have Parkinson’s. His trip is designed to bring awareness and to empower those battling this disease.

His journey started in Seattle, Washington and will end in Hartford, Connecticut. He started off on May 13th with hopes of being done by June 24th but the weather has been less than stellar for his trip so he has lost a few days.

Mr. Prescott stopped at Turnstone yesterday and spoke to the Parkinson’s support group. He was coming from Syracuse, Indiana.
