Travel Status in Allen County Upgraded to ADVISORY
(February 2, 2015) — The Allen County Department of Homeland Security has upgraded the winter weather travel status in Allen County to ADVISORY. A Travel ADVISORY means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
While road conditions have greatly improved from overnight, most are still snow-covered, slick and hazardous. Some drifting will continue throughout the day. Residents are encouraged to give themselves extra time for travel and slow down to pass each other on county roads.
