Andre Emmett Named Player of the Month for January

(February 2, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today Andre Emmett has been named the NBA D-League Player of the Month for January.

In the team’s 12 games this month, Emmett started each game and helped in leading the team to their 10-2 January record, including an 8 game win streak and a 2-0 campaign at the 2015 NBA D-League Showcase. Emmett averaged 27.3 points per game on 51% shooting to go along with averaging 6.4 rebounds per game as well. Emmett also received the D-League Player of the Week honor for the week of January 12th through 19th and was named to the All-Showcase Honorable Mention Team.

The Mad Ants will host the Erie BayHawks this Friday, February 6th with a 7:30 p.m. match-up.
