Commissioners Reorganize for the New Year
Peters chosen to lead board in 2015(January 9, 2015) — The Allen County Board of Commissioners today elected new officers for 2015.
During the Board’s legislative session, Nelson Peters was elected as the new president. Peters is serving his third consecutive term as first district commissioner. He served as the board’s vice president last year.
Commissioner Therese Brown, second district commissioner and immediate past president, was elected vice president for the coming year. Third district Commissioner Linda Bloom was chosen to serve as secretary. Both Brown and Bloom were re-elected to four-year terms last November.
