THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING…SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA TOWARD MID EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.
* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE LIKELY.
IMPACTS…
* SNOWFALL RATES UP TO AN ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR MAY OCCUR OVERNIGHT. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.
* ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED…SLICK AND HAZARDOUS WHICH WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT.
