Fatal Hit-Skip Vehicle Type Identified
(January 2, 2015) – Investigators that have been following up on the fatal hit-skip accident which occurred on December 16, 2014 on E. State near Crescent have identified the make and model of a vehicle of interest.
The above photo is of a Buick Regal. The year of the suspect vehicle can range anywhere between a 1998-2004 based on the recovered car parts. The surveillance video that was provided to detectives shows what “could be” a cashmere metallic in color Buick Regal which was only available on the 2004 models. The suspect vehicle would have or had front passenger side headlight damage.
Anyone with information on a vehicle similar to the color and damage is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).
