Rain arriving this afternoon
(December 15, 2014) – Areas of fog will be seen across the area, with the main focus across portions of Northwestern Ohio where brief clearing occurred overnight. A band of rain-showers will move across Illinois this morning and into Northern Indiana this afternoon, spreading northeast with time. Although there may be a brief lull in the rain later this afternoon into this evening, rain is expected to move back in tonight into the first part of Tuesday. The warm (by December standards) weather will continue into Tuesday with highs climbing to the upper 40s to around 50 both today and Tuesday. Lows tonight will fall back into the lower to middle 40s. Colder air is in store for the remainder of the week with highs back into the upper 20s to lower 30s.
