News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Drug Raid, 5330 Goshen Road, Lot 150
(December 11, 2014) – Shortly before 11:00 AM on December 11th, 2014 members of the Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team along with the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Bureau served a search warrant at 5330 Goshen Road Lot 150. During the search of the residence 2 adults were found inside along with several ounces of Marijuana and Synthetic Drugs known as “Spice”, numerous scales, plastic bags and paraphernalia.
Equipment to manufacture concentrated THC known as “wax” was also discovered as well as finished product and paraphernalia for smoking concentrated THC.
Bradley David Mertz was arrested for the following felonies.
- Dealing Synthetic Drugs (over 5 grams) Level 5
- Dealing Marijuana Level 6
- Manufacturing Marijuana Level 5
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 5
The other occupant of the dwelling was arrested and charged with several misdemeanor counts.
