Rainy and windy today
(November 24, 2014) – A cold front will approach the area during the day today. Rain showers will continue along and ahead of the front. High temperatures are likely to be reached in the morning with readings in the 50s. After the front moves through the area, rain will continue and winds will increase. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph will be common and gusts to 50 mph are possible. A wind advisory is in effect across the area today. Overnight, rain is expected to mix with or change over to snow. Only very light accumulations are expected across southern Michigan and far northern Indiana. Low temperatures will fall to the mid to upper 20s.
