Flakes flying across the area

(November 13, 2014) – Lake effect snow will cause flakes to fly across most of the forecast area today. Areas downstream of Lake Michigan could see an inch or two of accumulation while elsewhere accumulation amounts will remain less than an inch. High temperatures will be in the low 30s today into the weekend with lake effect snow tapering off by Friday evening. Total lake effect snow in SW Michigan will be in the 2 to 4 inch range.
