Allen County SPCA announces Catwalk 2014
(September 25, 2014) – Time is running out to purchase tickets to the most highly entertaining and outrageous event of the year, CatWalk 2014 – Masquerade!, a fundraiser benefiting the Allen County SPCA.
Enjoy a cocktail hour featuring live jazz, cash bar and silent auction before dinner during the live, couture fashion show. Following, be mesmerized by the CatWalk Masquerade performance featuring local stylists, makeup artists, and their models as they showcase their creative talents with a choreographed performance!
“This exciting competition and the added fashion show, are definitely worth attending! There’s nothing else like it in town, and it is a great way for us to raise awareness and funds for the Allen County SPCA,” said Jessica Henry, shelter director.
CatWalk is Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in downtown Fort Wayne. The doors open at 5pm. Cost is $85. Tickets are available at the following participating salons: The Loft hair skin nails, Forum Salon and Day Spa, Southwest Hair & Day Spa, A Day Away Salon & Spa, Turning Heads Salon, Masters of Cosmetology College, and new this year, The Warehouse Salon. About the Allen County SPCA
The Allen County SPCA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has been providing shelter to northeast Indiana’s homeless cats and dogs for over 60 years. Our mission is to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals by providing a safe haven for animals, an effective and comprehensive adoption program, education and outreach programs for the community and deep and broad membership and volunteer programs.
The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday noon – 4 pm.
