Thursday rain showers

(October 2, 2014) – An area of rain showers will push northeast across portions of the area through the morning hours. Widespread thunderstorms are not anticipated this morning, however a few rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out. This area of rain showers will push northeast out of the area by the early afternoon hours. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms again across the area later this afternoon through the evening hours.

Highs today will range from the mid 70s along and north of the Toll Road to around 80 degrees south of U.S. 30. Rain showers will impact the area overnight through Friday morning, with a chance for thunderstorms as well. Some of the rainfall may be heavy at times, with 1 to 2 inches of rainfall possible tonight through Friday morning across portions of the area. Lows overnight will be in the low to mid 60s.
