Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Keeping our eye on mid-week

(September 8, 2014) – The work week will start out quiet with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. Things could change by Wednesday as a strong system moves into the Great Lakes region and brings the chance for severe weather. The severe risk area for Wednesday is highlighted in yellow on the map above, and our entire forecast area is included. If you have any outdoor plans on Wednesday, you should pay particularly close attention to the evolving forecast.
