“We’re still focused on six more regular season games of BIG FUN, and hopefully a few playoff games,” TinCaps Team President Mike Nutter said. “But in this line of work, you have to look forward, too, and so whenever this season comes to an end, we’ll be fired up for April 12, 2015.”

Opening Day at Parkview Field in 2015 will take place on Sunday, April 12 at 4:05 p.m. against the Lansing Lugnuts. Fort Wayne’s season begins before that on the road at Great Lakes on Thursday, April 9.

The TinCaps’ 2015 slate at Parkview Field is set to include 29 games with fireworks, including the Fourth of July against the Dayton Dragons. Fort Wayne will also be home on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 21) and Labor Day (Monday, September 7) to conclude its campaign.

“We’ve had a great run Downtown so far,” Nutter said. “That’s a credit to the folks around Fort Wayne being the best in Minor League Baseball. So to continue to serve them, we’re only thinking bigger and better for season seven next year.”

Through 64 home games at Parkview Field in 2014 (24 of which have been sellouts), the TinCaps have drawn 374,351 fans and are on pace to have their largest regular season attendance total ever. With an average attendance of 5,849 this season, Fort Wayne has outdrawn 13 of 30 Triple-A franchises and 26 of 30 Double-A clubs. Out of all Class A teams, only Dayton has posted higher numbers than Fort Wayne.

The TinCaps will release their promotional schedule for 2015 at a later time.

2015 Season ticket packages – Existing season ticket holders will have a priority period to renew and reserve their same seat locations for 2015. Following that period season tickets will be available to the general public.
