Single Lane Restriction of I-469 over North River Road to Begin the Monday, August 18th
Two day lane restrictions due to bridge deck rehabilitation work

(August 16, 2014) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that the I-469 Bridge over North River Road will be restricted to a single lane throughout the day. Motorists can expect to see lane restrictions on northbound I-469 on Monday, August 18. Southbound lane restrictions are anticipated to follow on Tuesday, August 19. North River road is located approximately one mile north of Exit 21 (US 24). The restrictions are anticipated to begin at 7 a.m. and be in effect throughout the day for bridge deck rehabilitation work. All work is weather permitting.

This work is being done as part of a bridge rehabilitation contract awarded to R L McCoy for $287,000.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
