Busker Square, Celebrating the Art of Street Performance!
(August 6, 2014) – Dancers, magicians, and music, OH MY! Busker Square returns to Taste of the Arts 2014 on Freimann Square from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. to provide an exciting celebration of the arts through street performance! Be on the lookout for great local artists like The Harp Condition, Robot Girl, Hindered Folk, and the We D’fye Dance Troupe performing throughout the day as Busker Square allows you to enjoy the fun, uproarious, and unpredictable nature of buskers as they roam the area displaying their talents.
In addition to all of the fabulous performances there will be interactive activities happening as well! Fortune telling, face painting, and balloon artistry will be featured as well as special guests from the Appleseed Comic Con. Zach Kruse & Matt Gross will be at the Downtown Improvement District’s information booth taking your input and making your ideas come to life in the creation of a Downtown comic strip!
