Rain to continue today

(June 24, 2014) – An upper level disturbance along with a weak cold front will move across the area today bringing showers and thunderstorms throughout the entire region. Locally heavy rains are possible as are gusty winds with some of the stronger storms. Storms are expected to gradually decrease during the overnight hours as the cold front moves across the area. Overnight lows tonight are expected to be in the low to mid 60s – except upper 50s along Lake Michigan.
