Motor Vehicle Accident

Time: 2:55 p.m.
Location: 4900 Avondale Drive
Victim: Adult Male, Fair Condition
Details: At 2:55 p.m. this afternoon Fort Wayne police responded to the 4900 block of Avondale Drive on the reported single vehicle accident involving a scooter. On arrival officers found an adult male down who had crashed after losing control of his vehicle. He was transported from the scene in serious condition to a local hospital where he was initially downgraded to critical condition. After being treated he was upgraded to fair condition. The scooter involved in this accident was reported stolen out of Allen County in November 2012.
This accident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
