“Emergency Medical Services Day” Proclaimed in Allen County
(May 23, 2014) — The Allen County Board of Commissioners today honored emergency medical services personnel from throughout the county for the work they do to keep residents and visitors healthy.
The commissioners proclaimed today “Emergency Medical Services Day” in Allen County during their regular legislative session.
“Emergency medical services are a vital public service to the people and communities of Allen County,” the commissioners said in their proclamation. “The members of emergency medical services teams are ready to provide lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
The commissioners called on residents to recognize the value and the accomplishments of the county’s EMS providers.
