Group Delphi Hosts a Groundbreaking Ceremony at its New Location

(May 22, 2014) – Group Delphi is a designer and producer of exhibits for events, tradeshows, museums and the retail marketplace with two U.S. production locations in Alameda, California and in Fort Wayne. The company is launching a major expansion in Fort Wayne and hosting a groundbreaking Thursday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at its new location off Zubrick and Silverado Roads. The company will begin construction on its new 200,000 square-foot facility immediately.

“Over the last four years we have grown in our commitment to and enthusiasm for Indiana, and Fort Wayne in particular,” said Justin Hersh, chief executive officer and founder of Group Delphi. “Indiana is a great place to do business with a highly skilled and motivated workforce. The business climate in Indiana led us to the conclusion that this was the right place to expand.”

Group Delphi is beginning the project which will create 68 new jobs by 2017. The company will also invest more than $4 million to lease and equip its new 200,000 square-foot facility, which will be the company’s Midwest division housing exhibit production, graphic production, storage, graphic design, and sales.

“We’re pleased that Group Delphi has chosen to expand its current operations in Allen County and are excited for the impact they will continue to have on our community,” said County Commissioner Nelson Peters. “Group Delphi’s commitment and loyalty to Allen County is a testament to the strong workforce and environment we have to offer.”

Group Delphi has accepted a 10-year tax abatement, valued at $2,018,836 from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Northeast Indiana Works, and from Allen County. The abatement was granted back in December 2013.
