Assistance in identifying suspect in photos
(May 6, 2014) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the female captured in these surveillance photos.
The victim is an elderly woman who was leaving the parking lot at the Dollar General at 1133 Coliseum on 03/11/2014. She was flagged down by a female black who told her that her front tire was flat. The victim got out of her vehicle to check the tire at the same time another female entered the victim’s passenger door and stole her purse.
The photos are from the Wells Fargo on Bluffton Road. The female white in these photos used the victim’s personal and bank information to gain access to her account and steal money.
Anyone with information leading to the identification of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).
