Scattered showers/thunderstorms today-tonight
(April 29, 2014) – Scattered showers will diminish in coverage later this morning with some sunshine expected late morning and this afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop late this afternoon into early this evening as another upper level disturbance approaches the region. A few of these storms may be severe with damaging winds and large hail as the main threats.
Otherwise, warmer conditions are expected today, with much of the area warming into the lower to mid 70s. Winds will shift to the south today, with gusts around 30 mph possible later this afternoon.
