News release from Fort Wayne Community Schools:

Croninger named Four Star School

(April 15, 2014) – Croninger Elementary School has been designated a Four Star School by the Indiana Department of Education.

Schools are awarded the designation if they are among the top 25 percent of schools in the state, based on the results of ISTEP+ taken at the end of the 2012-13 school year. Statewide, 311 public and private schools were named Four Star Schools.

Croninger has earned Four Star status seven out of the last eight years.

“Croninger staff and students are thrilled to once again be named a Four Star School by the IDOE,” Croninger Principal Carrie Kennedy said. “Each day our staff is dedicated to educating all students to high standards, and our students come ready to learn with the support of their families.”

The school will celebrate the Four Star status with an all-school celebration before the end of the school year.
