Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
The nice weather has come to an end
(April 13, 2014) – The warm, dry weather we have seen this weekend will come to an end starting tonight as thunderstorms move into the area. Showers and thunderstorms will continue through most of the overnight hours and into the morning hours tomorrow as a cold front moves into the area. The cold front will move through the area by mid-day tomorrow and temperatures will continue to crash into the 30s. Temperatures will drop below freezing behind this front on Monday night and rain will change to snow with a quick 1 to 2 inch accumulation possible by Tuesday morning. Any snow that does accumulate will quickly melt with the strong April sun, but Tuesday will still be a cold day with high temperatures struggling to rise out of the 30s.
