Jefferson Blvd. McDonald’s® in downdown Fort Wayne to celebrate grand re-opening
Store specials all week(April 1, 2014) – McDonald’s on Jefferson Blvd. in downtown Fort Wayne will celebrate the store’s recent remodeling with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, April 7, beginning at 9:15 a.m. The ceremony will include representatives of Greater Fort Wayne Inc. and other downtown area businesses. The downtown restaurant will also offer specials every day during the week of April 7 through April 13.
The restaurant’s remodeling project is part of Fort Wayne’s downtown revitalization efforts. Last September, the restaurant on Jefferson Blvd. and Fairfield in downtown Fort Wayne was purchased by Judy and Dick Littlefield who also own the McDonald’s in Churubusco and Avilla.
The remodeled interior of the Jefferson Blvd. downtown restaurant now has a downtown theme with pictorials of various area icons such as the Embassy Theater, the Allen County Courthouse and Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne Tincaps. Extensive landscaping will begin in the next few weeks.
The remodeling project represents a $200,000 investment by the Littlefields. “We are very excited to be a part of downtown Fort Wayne and to take part in the city’s important revitalization efforts,” said Dick Littlefield. “This is a great city and we hope our efforts will contribute to a positive downtown experience.”
Since the restaurant was purchased by the Littlefields, 12 new employees have been hired. The restaurant is now staffed by 58 full- and part-time employees. Additional employees will be hired in the coming months.

- Sunday, April 13 Buy One Get One Sausage McMuffin with Egg or Egg McMuffin
