Mayor Henry’s State of the City Address postponed due to approaching winter storm
Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 4, 2014) – Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry’s 2014 State of the City Address scheduled for noon on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Grand Wayne Center, 120 W. Jefferson Blvd., has been postponed due to the approaching winter storm expected to impact Fort Wayne later today through Wednesday.
The Mayor’s State of the City Address has been rescheduled for noon on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Grand Wayne Center.
The speech is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m.
Mayor Henry will highlight City successes in 2013 and look ahead to plans for 2014. The theme for this year’s speech is “Investing in our Future.”
WPTA 21Alive and WANE-TV NewsChannel 15 will air the speech live.
A reception will follow the speech.
