Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Announces New Hire and Promotion
(December 23, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department has hired Karla Yauchler to manage the Outdoor Recreation Program. Karla was a supervisor at Salomon’s Farmin’ Fun Day Camp for three years and was an instructor in the Parks & Recreation Preschool Youth Program for an additional year. Karla is replacing Tony Acosta, the former Manager of Outdoor Recreation, who retired recently.
Marsha Ort has been promoted to Supervisor of Project Administration. Her previous position was Project Technician.
