City offices closed Tuesday, Wednesday for Christmas holiday

(December 16, 2013) – The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th for Christmas. The Botanical Conservatory will be closed on Christmas Day only, and the Community Center will be closed December 23-27.

On Monday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 24, garbage and recycling will be picked up as normal.

There will be no residential garbage and recycling pick-up on Christmas Day. The collection schedule is pushed back one day, with Wednesday’s collection on Thursday; Thursday’s collection on Friday and Friday collections on Saturday.

The City’s parking meters will be free Tuesday and Wednesday.

The City will resume regular business hours on Thursday, Dec. 26.
