Carroll High School Culinary and Fashion Show
Student’s designs focus on fire and ice

(December 11, 2013) – You are invited to Carroll’s first ever Culinary and Fashion Show on December 15, from 7-10 PM.

“Fire and Ice” will highlight the joint effort of both programs by putting the work of 22 CHS students on display. Fashion students have designed and created a garment based on either the fire or ice theme. At the event, designers will have a live model displaying their garment. The culinary students were given the task of designing an appetizer based on the designer’s gown. They will be preparing and serving food on the night of the event. Other highlights of the evening include a silent auction and music.

Food highlights include:

  • Blue Crab Beignets with Red Plum Sauce
  • Tuna Tartare with Honey Wasabi Sauce
  • Beef Carpaccio with Shredded Parmesan, Micro Arugula and Balsamic Reduction
  • Black and Blue Oysters with Citrus Saffron Sauce
  • Espresso Crusted Pork Tenderloin with Raspberry Mustard
  • Vanilla Scented Sea Bass and Blueberry Compote
  • Orange Scented Cheesecake with Snickerdoodle Crust and Pop Rock Garnish
  • Cinnamon Spice Cannoli with Red Hot Sauce

The event will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott (next to the Tin Caps stadium) on Sunday, December 15 from 7:00 – 10:00pm. Tickets are $25 single or $40 for a couple.

This event is exclusively for guests 21 and over.
